Ruediger Naumann-Etienne, Ph.D. currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Cardiac Science Corporation. Prior to becoming Chairman in October 2006, Dr. Naumann-Etienne served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Cardiac Science since September 2005. From April 2000 to August 2005, he served as Chairman of the Board of Quinton Cardiology Systems, where he also served as Chief Executive Officer from November 2000 to August 2003. Dr. Naumann-Etienne is the owner and Managing Director of Interec Group, an investment company acting as principal in managing high technology growth situations since 1989. From 1993 to 1999, he served as Chairman of OEC Medical Systems Inc., a leader in fluoroscopic imaging for minimally invasive surgery. From 1995 to 1997, Dr. Naumann-Etienne also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of OEC. From 1987 to 1990, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Diasonics, a medical device provider. From 1984 to 1987, Dr. Naumann-Etienne served as manager of Hambrecht & Quist, an investment bank. Prior to 1984, he held various management positions with Texas Instruments. He holds a Ph.D. in International Finance from the University of Michigan, an M.A. in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and performed undergraduate work in business administration at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
W. Robert Berg

W. Robert Berg has served as a director since September 2005. From July 2002 to August 2005, he served as a director of Quinton Cardiology Systems. From October 1985 to January 2000, Mr. Berg held various positions at SeaMED Corporation, a medical equipment company, including Vice President of Operations from 1985 to 1987, and President and Chief Executive Officer from 1987 to 2000. Jue Hsien Chern, Ph.D. has served as a director since September 2005. From March 2003 to August 2005, Dr. Chern served as a director of Quinton Cardiology Systems. Since January 2000, he has served as Vice President and General Manager of the D.S.M. division of Mentor Graphics, Inc., a leading provider of electronic design automation products and services. From 1998 to 1999, Dr. Chern was the head of the D.S.M. Corporation business unit of Avant! Corporation, a provider of electronic design automation products. Dr. Chern received a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from SUNY Buffalo, and a M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University.
Raymond W. Cohen
Director
Raymond W. Cohen served as Chairman of the Board from September 2005 to October 2006 and has continued to serve as a director since that time. Mr. Cohen has served as Chief Executive Officer and a director of Symphony Medical, Inc., a company that develops therapies to treat atrial fibrillation and other cardiac abnormalities since May 2006. Prior to September 2005, Mr. Cohen was the Chief Executive Officer for Cardiac Science, Inc. and a member of its Board of Directors since January 1997. In September 2003, he was named Chairman and CEO. Prior to 1997, Mr. Cohen was President of Diagnostic Monitoring, a privately held manufacturer and international distributor of non-invasive cardiac monitoring devices and previously was Vice President, Sales & Marketing of DM Software, Inc., a developer of cardiac monitoring software. From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Cohen was president of BioAnalogics, Inc., a publicly held development-stage medical company. From 1982 to 1988, Mr. Cohen was Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Brentwood Instruments, Inc., a publicly held cardiology products distribution company. Mr. Cohen holds a B.S. in Business Management from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
John R. Hinson

John R. Hinson has been the President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a director, of Cardiac Science Corporation since September 2005. From July 1999 to August 2005, he served as a director of Quinton Cardiology Systems, where he also served as President and Chief Executive Officer from September 2003 to August 2005. From April 1999 to August 2003, Mr. Hinson served in a number of roles for Quinton including President, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice President of Operations. From March 1995 to March 1999, he held several positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Planning and Business Development, at DeCrane Aircraft Holdings, Inc., an aerospace electronics company. From October 1991 to March 1995, he held various positions at Minimed, Inc., a medical device company, including Director of Finance and Director of Operations. Prior to 1991, Mr. Hinson held financial positions in the controller's organization of The Hewlett-Packard Company and in the structured finance department of Bankers Trust Company. He holds an M.B.A. from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
Timothy C. Mickelson, Ph. D.

Timothy C. Mickelson, Ph. D. has served as a director since November 2006. From April 2003 until his retirement in May 2005, Dr. Mickelson was an Executive Vice President of Philips Medical Systems and CEO of its Global Customer Service business. Prior to this position, Dr. Mickelson served as the CEO of Philips Medical's Ultrasound business from October 1998 until April 2003. From December 1988 until December 1997, Dr. Mickelson held various positions at Marquette Medical Systems, including Vice President of its Patient Monitoring Division, President of Corometrics Medical Systems, and President of Marquette Medical Systems from August 1995 until December 1997. Dr. Mickelson holds a Ph. D. in Physiology from Ohio University, an MS from Thayer School of Engineering (Dartmouth College), and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Ray E. Newton, III

Ray E. Newton, III has served as a director since September 2005. From May 2002 to August 2005, he served as a director of Cardiac Science, Inc. He is a Managing Director of Perseus, LLC, a merchant bank and private equity fund management company. Prior to joining Perseus in 1999, Mr. Newton was a General Partner at J.H. Whitney & Co., a private equity and subordinated debt investment firm. Mr. Newton joined Whitney as an Associate in 1989 and, in 1992, was named General Partner. Prior to Whitney, Mr. Newton was in the Merchant Banking Department at Morgan Stanley & Company, Inc. Mr. Newton holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Princeton University.
Jeffrey F. O'Donnell Sr.

Jeffrey F. O'Donnell Sr. has served as a director since September 2005. From September 2003 to August 2005, he served as a director of Cardiac Science, Inc. Since 1999, Mr. O'Donnell has been the President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of PhotoMedex, Inc., a developer of proprietary excimer laser and fiber optic systems and techniques. He served as President and CEO of Radiance Medical Systems (originally Cardiovascular Dynamics) from 1997 to 1999, having joined that company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 1995. He subsequently assumed a role as non-executive Chairman of the Board at that company. From 1994 to 1995, Mr. O'Donnell held the position of President and CEO of Kensey Nash Corporation. Additionally, he has held several senior sales and marketing management positions at Boston Scientific, Guidant Corporation and Johnson & Johnson Orthopedic. Mr. O'Donnell has a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from La Salle University.
